We have an exciting opportunityfor a Postdoctoral Researcher or Senior Research Fellow (dependent onexperience) to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary high-performing team.This position will support, oversee and run research aspects of the Move toImprove (M2I) program. M2I is trialling the integration of physical activityinto routine clinical care to improve the quality of life for children withongoing health conditions receiving treatment at Perth Children's Hospital.
In this role,your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Assembling and engaging the M2I Consumer Advisory Group.
* Assisting/leading the analysis and interpretation of research data to identify key findings and implications for policy and practice.
* Conducting analysis and interpretation of research data findings with input from the project team.
* Developing and monitoring ethics and governance applications to the Human Research Ethics Committee.
* Building and maintaining effective communication channels and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Based in ourmodern offices within Perth Children's Hospital in Nedlands, this position willbe offered at 0.7 FTE – 1FTE (dependent on the candidate), until March 2028.
About You
The successful candidatewill hold a PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. public health, health sciences,psychology), and will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
* Research experience in relevant fields such as child physical activity, chronic disease prevention, behaviour change and implementation science in clinical settings.
* The ability to build and sustain engagement with community groups and diverse stakeholders.
* Outstanding oral and written communication skills including evidence of academic writing (grants submissions/reports, ethics submissions/reports, and publications).
* Experience with RedCAP and RStudio is desirable.
