Job Overview
The Management Accountant plays a key role in providing financial support to hospitals and community facilities across Central Queensland Health.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain contemporary knowledge of legislation and standards regarding financial management and budgeting.
* Prepare and analyse data to identify trends and risks at the cost centre level.
* Assist in meeting financial accountabilities by working closely with Business Units and Executive Directors / General Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to identify key issues, analyse and review data, utilise problem solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions and provide quality advice.
Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, performance reporting, data analysis and resource management for a large, complex organisation.
