Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, trim, and portion a variety of meats to industry standards
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on cuts and cooking techniques
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
- Assist in managing inventory, ensuring product availability and rotation
- Work efficiently both individually and as part of a collaborative team
Required Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Meat Processing (or equivalent) or relevant industry experience
- Proven experience in a butchery or meat processing workplace
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
