We are seeking a dedicated Youth Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work with at-risk youth in a residential setting, providing a safe and supportive environment for their growth and development.

Main Responsibilities:
* Create a Secure Environment: Foster a secure, nurturing atmosphere that promotes trust and respect among residents.
* Empower Daily Living Skills: Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and hygiene to promote independence.
* Transportation Support: Ensure young people attend school, appointments, and community activities.
* Promote Personal Growth: Encourage skill development and socialization within the local community.
* Health Needs Management: Administer medications and maintain accurate reporting.
* Trauma-Informed Care: Support youth with complex behaviors using trauma-informed approaches.
* Therapeutic Practices: Participate in therapeutic crisis intervention training and apply skills in daily practice.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Youth Work or similar qualification.
* Australian Driver's License (P2 or higher).
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
* Reliable Vehicle & Vehicle Registration.
* Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* Minimum 3 months paid experience as a Youth Development Specialist.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
