- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Undertake diligent lifeguarding to the standard sof Guideline for Safe pool
- operation.- Undertake the role of warden in a emergency evacuation.
- Undertake cleaning and housekeeping to ensure hygienic and inviting
- conditions during team rotations.- Administer the fees and charges as resolved by Council, monitor bands
indicating payment, taking payment as required and class roles during team
rotation.
- Maintain work records including hourly vistation, pool test corrective measure,
plant room check and as required financial records, membership records
during team rotation.
- Identify hazards assess the risk and rectify or report the hazard of duties.

policies and procedures and under the relevant WHS legislation. These include but
are not limited to: identifying potentially unsafe situations or work practices and
notifying your Supervisor or Manager (or the Health, Safety Manager/Area Safety

you do not have the experience, or have not received appropriate instructions and
training or where the correct equipment to carry out the task safely is not available;

**SKILL, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
**DESIRABLE**
- Previous experience in the supervision and operation of public swimming pools
- Willingness to undertake training and multi skill and assist in other areas
**BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES**
- Display the values of the Council
