We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Registrars in Medical Education for Fixed Term Full-Time opportunities for 6 months, starting on 4th August 2025, with the possibility of extension(s).1.0 FTE Medical Education Registrar position is available for the second half of 2025 (or 2 x 0.5 FTE positions).
Position Profile:The Medical Education Registrar works with Bunbury Hospital and WACHS Central Medical Education Units to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative education and training models, programs, and strategies.
The Registrar also provides support, advice, and advocacy for junior medical staff.
Expressions of Interest are invited from current medical staff, including those who may have been unsuccessful in recent central applications.
Bunbury Hospital employs 15 WACHS Interns, with an additional 6 interns rotating each term from Royal Perth Hospital; we also employ 64 Resident Medical Officers, including 16 IMGs on the Workplace Bases Assessment Program.
Various training pathways are under development to enhance seamless medical careers within WACHS.
