What you will be required to do:
As a Fish Technician, you'll play a key role in the daily operations of our barramundi production, ensuring optimal fish health, water quality, and system performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and maintaining water quality parameters
Feeding and health checks of barramundi stock
Assisting with grading, harvesting, and stock transfers
Operating and maintaining aquaculture systems and equipment
Recording data and reporting on fish performance and health
To be successful in the role you will:
Proven experience in aquaculture, preferably with barramundi or other warm-water species
Strong understanding of fish husbandry and water chemistry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare
Forklift licence and aquaculture qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Car licence
