We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead and grow a high‐performing business unit within the insurance building sector.
This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for business growth, operational performance, financial outcomes, and team development. You will play a critical role in driving strategic direction, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
As General Manager, you will be accountable for the overall success of the business unit, including:
* Leading, inspiring and developing a multi-disciplinary team of Estimators, Supervisors and Administrators
* Driving revenue growth, profitability and operational efficiency
* Overseeing financial performance including P&L, cash flow and forecasting
* Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and strong margin control
* Reviewing WIP, claims progress and resource allocation
* Building and maintaining strong client and industry relationships
* Identifying and implementing process improvements and best‐practice systems
* Leading business development initiatives and expanding work streams
* Maintaining high standards across safety, compliance and quality
This role requires a hands‐on leader who leads from the front, builds high‐performance teams and consistently delivers results.

* Proven background within the insurance building industry (essential)

* Solid understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
