This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working with industrial equipment, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for servicing and supporting a broad range of compressed air systems across various industries, helping customers maintain reliable and efficient operations.
As a Senior Service Technician, you'll be a key member of our service team, providing technical expertise in the field and workshop while supporting the ongoing growth of the business.
What you'll be doing:
* Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on compressed air equipment
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults
* Attending customer sites for breakdown response and technical support
* Carrying out equipment commissioning and installation activities
* Completing service reports and maintaining accurate job records
* Providing technical recommendations and support to customers
* Supporting junior technicians and sharing technical knowledge
* Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service
* Working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver positive outcomes
What we're looking for:
* Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, Diesel Mechanic, Refrigeration, or similar technical field
* Strong experience in industrial maintenance and fault finding
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage service schedules effectively
* Strong communication and customer relationship skills
* Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
* Experience with compressors, compressed air systems, industrial machinery, pumps, generators, or related equipment highly regarded
