About the role
The Casual Host Ranger represents Parks and Wildlife Services (PWS) while creating unforgettable experiences for walkers visiting the Three Capes Track.
In this role, the Casual Host Ranger will:
* Ensure visitors have access to information, interpretation, advice and assistance.
* Manage bookings and present cabins.
* Captivate and engage visitors with storytelling.
* Share your knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage of the area.

Hours per fortnight
Casual, as and when required.
Period of appointment
2 years.
Essential requirements
* Successful completion of the fitness assessment as the “Arduous “level (4.83km walk carrying 20.5kg in 45 minutes or less).
* Registration to “Work with Vulnerable People” as required under the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013.
Desirable requirements
* A current motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
* Wilderness First Aid qualification.
* Workplace Level 2 First Aid qualification.
