About The Role
This full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic position offers an exciting opportunity to join our high performing maintenance team based in Campbellfield, Victoria. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transport services.
What You'll Bring To The Team
* Formal trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (or related automotive trade) with a minimum of 5 years' experience, ideally in a commercial transport or logistics environment.
* Current HR and forklift licence, with a HC licence also highly regarded.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, with extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

* Quickly identify and resolve mechanical issues through strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
