Ghilgai Steiner School is a small, well established P-6 school located at the foot of Mount Dandenong in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
We are seeking a passionate Steiner music teacher to work with our primary school classes 1 day per week.
**Selection criteria**
- Commitment to Steiner education, with qualifications or other expertise in this area
- VIT registered teacher
- Relevant musical skills, qualifications and experience
- Willingness to work in consultation with each Class Teacher
- A wish to discover and work with the unique aspects of Ghilgai's curriculum
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- Well organised with strong planning and documentation abilities
- Excellent communications skills
- Dynamism and a wish to contribute to the wider cultural life of the school and community
