PlaySide is looking for a dynamic Community & Social Manager to lead player communication and foster vibrant online communities. You’ll take charge of campaign management across channels like TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Twitch, Discord, Steam, and more. Your role will involve crafting compelling content, ensuring it aligns with PlaySide’s brand, and engaging with players to create a positive community atmosphere. You’ll also be responsible for managing content schedules and maintaining community guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Drive player-facing engagement and communications across community channels (TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Twitch, Discord, Steam, TikTok, etc.).Own end-to-end campaign management for social media, video content, and video streaming across platforms for PlaySide brands and games.Lead content production, including social copy, articles, and videos, while overseeing content planning and scheduling for owned channels.Cultivate a positive community environment, fostering trust, care, well-being, inclusiveness, and belonging.Develop and maintain community guidelines and policies to ensure a safe and welcoming space for players.Monitor community health, producing reports on key issues and outcomes, and addressing concerns promptly.Measure, analyze, and report on content performance across social channels to inform internal teams and drive improvement.Represent the community's voice in cross-departmental communications, sharing feedback, trends, and sentiments.Collaborate with stakeholders to define community and social strategy and support broader marketing initiatives.Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the team, ensuring alignment with cultural, social, and gaming developments.What you bring to the table:2 years of community and/or social management experience, with a strong focus on player engagement and relationship-building.Proficient in multimedia content creation, capable of producing engaging social media, video, and other forms of content (experience with Adobe suite, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop, is highly preferred).Experience running social and community campaigns to engage both new and existing players.Comfortable interacting on various online platforms or eager to learn new ones to engage the community.Skilled at interpreting and presenting data from quantitative and qualitative sources to provide insights that inform game team decisions.What we offer here at PlaySide!Playdays - an additional 5 paid days off per year to do something you love.Incredible studios based in gorgeous Port Melbourne, right next to the city and many public transport options.Industry-leading Parental Leave benefits.Relocation Assistance.Employee Assistance Program to support mental well-being.Mentoring opportunities to help you grow in your role.Half-price state-of-the-art Gym access!
