We are expanding our Audit & Assurance business unit in Perth and are seeking talented professionals for multiple positions across various levels to join our growing team. These roles offer the chance to contribute to assurance-related activities, engage directly with clients, and, for senior positions, lead and mentor junior staff.
About You
We’re looking for individuals who bring:
* Experience in delivering program assurance, internal audits, and/or financial statement audits across government sectors and not-for-profit organisations.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
* In addition, you MUST be a Permanent Resident of Australia and preferably already residing in Perth.
Key Accountabilities
* Conducting high quality project and business audits from beginning to end, in line with deadlines.
* Preparing concise and informative audit reports.
* Identifying and documenting inherent risks and controls within business processes.
* Undertake fraud investigations and provide insights into fraud prevention and risk assessment.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned and driving innovative audit methodologies.
* Support the development and implementation of internal audit strategies and plans.
* Promote a proactive risk management culture and embed continuous auditing techniques.
Are you up for the challenge?
* Experience (3+ years) in internal audit within professional services.
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce with CA, CPA.
* Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
* Proficient in data analytics and continuous auditing methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in audit practices.
