Job Description
Our Repair Loop Technicians are at the forefront of inspecting, testing and repairing our Reverse Vending Machine hardware such as printers, power supplies, motors, LCD and touch screens.
Some other duties may include:
* Inspect, test and record parts received for repair
* Implement repair procedures and record success/failure rates
* Analyse and report on data gathered from returned parts
* Maintain a clean, well-organised and ESD controlled workplace
* Deliver training to local technicians on correct handling, fault finding and possible field repair options
* Suggest and implement performance improving actions across TCA's RVM portfolio
* Testing of repair parts according to internal quality standards
Qualifications
What makes a great Repair Loop Technician at TOMRA:
* Proven experience electronics repair
* Previous hands on or field experience
* Certificate III level qualification in an electronics trade or higher education qualification that must relate directly to the work carried out
* Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate preferred
* An interest in emerging technology and environmentalism
* Strong ability to communicate clearly
* Prioritised approach to safety
