Indigenous Youth - Program Coordinator

About the Employer
We cater to our working Indigenous family community through various enterprises including Education and Training Programs for children and youth, a Hair Salon, Second Hand Furniture Store, Coffee Van, Traditional Craft Centre, Cultural Awareness Training, and Spinifex Skateboards.
Objectively
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work with the school and other service providers as part of our alternative curriculum. Your responsibilities include program delivery for children and youth, focusing on community engagement, bush and town trips, bush activities, boot camps, cooking, cultural awareness, community restorative justice, storytelling, and teaching about country.
Key Duties
Program design and delivery, including for school holidays
OHS compliance
Liaising with community stakeholders
Managing budgets and program evaluation
Your Background
Tertiary qualification in Youth, Education, Conservation, Land Management, or Community Development
Stable employment history
Experience with program delivery for Indigenous youth and children
Ability to build rapport with Indigenous families, children, and youth
Strong background within Indigenous communities (preferred)
Current driver's license and 4WD experience
