Speech Pathologist Role

As a Speech Pathologist with us, you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:
1. Assessing customer speech, language and/or swallow, and developing individual treatment plans and goals to address deficits in these areas.
2. Delivering high-quality intervention and advice.
3. Regularly reviewing customer treatment plans and goals.
4. Assisting customers to achieve optimum outcomes and safety in communication and swallow.
5. Providing instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required.
6. Identifying opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.
7. Ensuring that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively work with staff, clients, and families.
* Exceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care.
