The purpose of the Wholesale Consultant is to liaise with a diverse array of Australia's retail travel agency brands (excluding all internal FCTG brands) and assist them to plan all aspects of their client's trips, including flights, accommodation, tours and activities, transfers, etc, with the aim of generating business for the organisation.
**What you will be doing**:
- Ensuring enquiries are actioned in a timely manner to strict deadlines
- Quoting, booking, invoicing air and land packages
- Paying suppliers and organising documentation
- Share product knowledge and provide expert advice on fares and destinations for external travel consultants
**What you will need**:
- Minimum 12 months Retail / Wholesale travel industry experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- GDS experience (Sabre/Galileo preferred)
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to manage change
- TravelBox Reservations Manager experience is desirable
