THE ROLE - PLASTERER
This role involves wall and ceiling plastering across residential renovation projects, including new installations, repairs and finishing work.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Installing wall and ceiling linings including plasterboard and related materials
• Measuring, cutting and fixing plasterboard to walls and ceilings
• Setting, jointing, cornicing and finishing surfaces to a high standard
• Repairing damaged walls and ceilings as part of renovation works
• Preparing surfaces for painting and finishing trades
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised work sites
• Working collaboratively with project managers and other trades to meet deadlines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
• Proven experience as a Wall and Ceiling Plasterer
• Strong knowledge of plasterboard installation, setting and finishing techniques
• Ability to read plans, measurements and work specifications
• High level of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work full time with flexibility for overtime
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Desirable:
• Trade qualification in Plastering or a related field
• Experience in residential renovation environments
• Current driver's licence and own tools
THE ROLE - TILER
This role involves wall and floor tiling across residential renovation projects, including bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and other internal areas.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Preparing surfaces for tiling, including measuring, levelling and waterproofing
· Setting out tile layouts to ensure accuracy and visual consistency
· Cutting, shaping and laying wall and floor tiles including ceramic, porcelain and stone
· Applying adhesives, grouts and sealants to industry standards
· Ensuring all tiling work meets quality, safety and finishing requirements
· Maintaining clean, safe and organised work sites
· Working collaboratively with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
· Proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler or Tile Setter
· Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials and surface preparation
· Ability to read plans, drawings and layout specifications
· High attention to detail and quality workmanship
· Ability to work full time with flexibility for overtime
· Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Desirable:
· Trade qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling or a related field
· Experience in residential renovation environments
· Current driver's licence and own tools
