Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting system improvements while thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.Key responsibilitiesMonth-end reporting including journals, accruals and prepaymentsPreparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, investigating variancesAssisting with statutory reporting and year-end audit requirementsMaintaining fixed asset registers and assisting with tax reportingSupporting ERP migration, UAT testing and process improvementsContributing to data integrity testing and continuous improvement initiativesReviewing supplier payment runs and direct debit processes for accuracy and complianceProviding ad hoc analysis and support to the Financial ControllerAbout YouCA/CPA qualified (or close to completion)3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant in a commercial environmentStrong Excel skills and ERP system exposureBalance sheet reconciliation expertise and solid technical accounting knowledgeExperience assisting with UAT or system implementations highly desirableCalm, collected and resilient, able to perform in a rapid-paced environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat's in it for YouSalary $110k – $120k base + super12-month contract with potential to transition to permanentClose to train station and onsite parking availableImmediate start5x days working in the officeBe part of a large, well established Australian business going through an exciting transition journeyPlease APPLY NOW or contact Declan Stacey on 0483 945 773 for more information.12-month Financial Accountant contract offering perm possibilities.
