The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to join its Band 1 Corporate M&A team in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, providing strategic advice to a diverse client base and to work alongside arguably the best Partners in this space.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on the full spectrum of corporate transactions, including private and public M&A, takeovers, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and shareholder arrangements.
* Draft and negotiate core transaction documents while identifying key legal risks and supporting strategic decision-making for clients.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless legal solutions.
* Build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to business development initiatives.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth.
About You
* Admitted to practice law in Australia with 3+ years PQE in corporate M&A.
* Strong academic background and commercial acumen.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
