**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic Recruitment Manager to join the business. Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with our leadership team on their operational requirements, you will own, lead and manage the company's end to end recruitment strategy. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of 2, which will consist of a Recruitment Administrator and Recruitment Consultant.
**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Design a recruitment strategy to meet the needs of a growing business
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and senior management in regards to recruitment needs, headcount and attraction strategies
- Developing the recruitment team
- Writing, posting and managing job adverts
- Pre-screening resumes and phone screening applicants
- Coordinating driving assessments (truck and forklift)
- Organising and conducting interviews
- Conducting onboarding processes:
- Reference checking
- Booking medicals
- Contract generation
- Arranging first day inductions, training and welcoming of new employees
**To be successful will have the following experience**:
We are looking for someone with a resilient personality, who preferably understands road transport and warehouse equipment. You will need demonstratable recruitment experience in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment and meet the following criteria:
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- People management experience
- 5 years recruitment experience
- Preferably a solid understanding of Transport industry requirements and equipment i.e.- Truck Drivers HR / HC / MC - know the gear and can talk the lingo
- Forklift Operators - know the difference between transport yard and warehouse operators
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
- Good time management and coordinating skills
