Warehouse Manager

With continued business growth, we're expanding our team and are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our fast‐paced operations in Woodville, SA.
About The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will take full responsibility for the leadership, coordination, and performance of the warehouse function. You will oversee daily operations across receiving, pick/pack, dispatch, and inventory control, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety at all times. This is a hands‐on leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, people‐management capability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the warehouse team, including supervisors and store persons (6‐8 staff)
* Oversee day‐to‐day warehouse operations to ensure on‐time and accurate order fulfilment
* Plan and optimise workflows, labour allocation, and resource utilisation
* Drive performance against KPIs including DIFOT, accuracy, productivity, and safety metrics
* Ensure compliance with WHS policies and promote a strong safety‐first culture
* Manage inventory control processes including stock takes and cycle counts
* Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch functions
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage workforce planning, training, development, and performance reviews
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with supply chain, customer service, and transport providers
* Prepare operational reports and provide insights to senior leadership
* Maintain warehouse systems and ensure accurate documentation and RF scanning processes
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a management role
* Strong leadership experience managing teams in a pick/pack or distribution environment
* Current forklift license (LF) - high reach experience essential
* Demonstrated experience managing KPIs and driving operational performance
* Strong organisational, planning, and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Solid understanding of warehouse WHS legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience with inventory systems and RF scanning technology
* Physically capable and willing to remain hands‐on where required
* Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change
