Our client is a well-established mid-tier commercial contractor with a strong reputation across WA and nationally for delivering complex industrial, infrastructure and resource-sector projects. Known for their long tenure of staff, collaborative culture, and consistent project delivery, they continue to secure technically challenging work across Australia.
Due to a busy pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join the business on a full-time, permanent basis, based out of their Balcatta head office.
This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project, managing procurement activities from pre-award through to project completion while working closely with project, commercial and delivery teams across states.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end procurement for a large-scale marine / infrastructure project
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with program and budget
* Manage tendering, evaluation, negotiation and award of subcontract and supplier packages
* Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and key suppliers
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Commercial teams to ensure timely procurement
* Ensure compliance with contractual, commercial and governance requirements

Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement professional within construction, infrastructure or industrial projects
* Strong background in subcontract and supplier procurement
* Experience with marine, commercial, industrial or resource-sector projects highly regarded
* Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage interstate project requirements from a Perth-based office
* Relevant construction, engineering, or commercial qualification preferred
