Job Title: Guest Experience Host
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and possess excellent communication skills.
The Guest Experience Host will be the first point of contact for our owners and guests, providing a seamless experience throughout their stay. This includes greeting and registering owners and guests upon arrival, providing information on local area attractions and services, and ensuring all department-related paperwork is completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and register owners and guests upon arrival to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
* Provide information on local area attractions and services to enhance the guest experience.
* Complete all department-related paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
* Operate communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers, to maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
* Meet with guests to generate sales appointments for our resorts and via livestream, focusing on delivering an exceptional experience.
* Establish commonality and build rapport with customers to deliver outstanding service.
* Work closely with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and ensure a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process.
* Clearly articulate the benefits of traveling within Wyndham Destinations community.
* Meet targets and KPIs as set by the business.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar hotel position is essential for success in this role.
* A genuine passion for customer service and the local area is required to deliver an exceptional experience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
* An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive individual is required to thrive in this role.
* Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism.
* High levels of computer literacy are required to operate various systems efficiently.
* Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera, etc.) is advantageous but not essential.
* The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace is crucial to success in this role.
* The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays, is required to meet business needs.
