MG Electrical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse / Storeperson to join our Head Office in Darwin. This position plays a key role in supporting our operations by ensuring the efficient management of materials, tools, equipment and stock for our projects and field crews.
Based in the Northern Territory, MG Electrical Services has built a strong reputation for delivering quality electrical and powerline services across commercial, industrial and remote projects.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of warehouse and yard activities, including:
* Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
* Picking and preparing materials for projects and field crews
* Maintaining stock levels and inventory records
* Coordinating deliveries and freight movements
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
* Assisting with plant, tool and equipment management
* Conducting stocktakes and reporting shortages or discrepancies
* Supporting workshop and operational staff as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Previous warehouse or storeperson experience
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current driver's licence
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
* Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
