Front Desk Support
We are seeking a highly organised and people-focused individual to join our professional team as a Front Desk Support. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to multitask and maintain accurate records.
* Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
* Schedule appointments and manage patient enquiries in a timely manner.
* Process payments, manage HICAPS and Medicare transactions, and reconcile end-of-day balances.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records, supporting practice operations.
* Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists, ensuring patient comfort and care during treatment.
* Prepare and sterilise instruments according to strict infection control standards.
* Support patient comfort and care by maintaining clean, safe, and efficient clinical rooms.
This role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn both front desk and clinical functions.
Patient Care & Communication:
Warm, professional interpersonal skills are essential for managing calls, bookings, recalls, and patient enquiries.
Clinical & Infection Control:
A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or working towards) is highly desirable, along with an understanding of sterilisation, infection control, and clinical workflows.
