About Us
The ADF Health Services Contract provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. Responsibilities
- Providing administrative duties efficiently
- Maintaining patient privacy and ensuring compliance with Defence Policies and Procedures, Medical-in-Confidence and Staff-in-Confidence standards
- Maintaining electronic and hard copy of health records, database, and information management systems
- Communicating with internal and external customers to obtain patient information as required
About the Location
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16 bed low dependency ward 24/7. It also provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
About You
- At least 12 months of part-time or full-time experience in an administrative role.
- Experience working in a clinical support role or medical reception, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- A demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focused environment.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team to support the delivery of secure, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
- Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date record keeping in a clinical environment.
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance
