The Role
This is a skilled and safety-focused Electrician position that involves maintaining and repairing a range of fixed and portable equipment. The role will involve working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
The position is based in Avon (Northam) but may require movement throughout receival sites, including York, Greenhills, Quairading and Calingiri. Occasional travel may be required to support maintenance activities across other regional sites.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery.
* Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems.
* Complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned to the maintenance function.
* Providing electrical assistance to our remote receival sites in the Avon zone.
* Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence. A strong safety focus, commitment to safe work practices and ability to work in high grain dust concentrations are essential. Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems and hazardous area installation certification would be desirable.
