Securitisation Capital Structuring (SCS) is a business unit within Capital Structuring that provides: Warehouse funding of securitisable assets that are subsequently refinanced into capital markets; and Arranger / Lead Manager structuring capabilities, and provision of relevant support facilities, to create securitisation capital markets transactions that are distributed to global fixed income institutional investors. The role As Director Securitisation Modelling, you will play a critical leadership role within Securitisation Capital Structuring, providing deep technical expertise, strategic insight, and governance oversight across securitisation modelling activities. You will be responsible for setting modelling standards, leading complex structuring analysis, and partnering closely with senior stakeholders to support execution of warehouse facilities and securitisation capital markets transactions across multiple asset classes. This is a senior, highly visible role that combines hands‑on technical capability with people leadership, model governance, and trusted advisory support to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Lead and oversee securitisation cash flow modelling, asset analysis and quantitative structuring analysis across warehouse facilities and term securitisation transactions, including credit enhancement, stress testing, scenario analysis and weighted average life calculations Provide technical leadership and review of models used for transaction execution, investor presentations, ratings agency engagement and internal approvals Own and uplift securitisation modelling frameworks, methodologies and governance, ensuring alignment with internal risk standards, regulatory expectations and market best practice Partner closely with senior Capital Structuring, Coverage, Risk, Finance and Legal stakeholders to support origination, structuring and execution of complex transactions Lead engagement with external parties, including ratings agencies, investors, data providers and modelling platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Intex), to support transaction outcomes Drive the ongoing development and enhancement of modelling tools, databases and analytics, leveraging data to improve efficiency, insight and execution capability Provide coaching, mentoring and technical development for modelling team members, fostering a strong risk culture and high‑performance environment Contribute to strategic initiatives within Securitisation Capital Structuring and the broader IB&M business What we’re looking for Extensive experience in securitisation and/or structured finance modelling within capital markets, banking or financial services Deep understanding of securitisation structures, asset classes, cash flow mechanics and credit risk Advanced financial modelling capability, with strong Excel skills and experience in VBA and/or SQL highly regarded Demonstrated experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, including ratings agencies and investors Strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams under tight timeframes Proven leadership capability, including experience reviewing work, setting standards and developing others Broad understanding of financial markets products and funding solutions What we offer This Director‑level opportunity provides exposure to complex and high‑profile securitisation transactions in the Australian and global capital markets.
