Job Title: Data Center Specialist - Critical Environment
About the Role
This is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring compliance with data center business units and service-level policies for Edge Critical Environments (CE).
* The ideal candidate will engage with appropriate teams and resources to execute CE tasks or projects.
* He/She will manage CE programs associated with the area of responsibility.
* Review and advise on Edge contract processes, contract language, and supporting documentation.
* Deliver new Edge Data Centers in collaboration with partners by providing onsite expertise and reviews.
* Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures; report issues immediately.
* Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes as appropriate.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to maximize Critical Environment (CE) availability in collaboration with landlord partners at Edge facilities.
* Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in leased Data Centers (including MOP / SOP / EOP review, RCAs, FMEAs, change governance, and risk mitigation).
* Reduce high-impact and human-error related CE incidents year over year.
* Act as an escalation point for facilities-related issues within leased data centers.
* Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise on-premises CE audits and compliance verifications.
* Ensure delivery and review of routine reports to manage Power, Temperature, Relative Humidity, and SLA metrics.
* Establish and strengthen relationships with Engineering Groups and landlord partners.
* Collaborate with regional and global peers to share best practices across the EDGE portfolio.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years industry experience in a data center or critical environment facility, OR
* 3+ years industry experience with college coursework.
Bachelor's Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering / services may be preferred. Experience working on large-scale CE projects and IT infrastructure operations would be beneficial. Background Check Requirements include security screenings such as Microsoft Cloud Background Check, Citizenship Verification (Australian Citizenship required), and possible NV1 / 2 or PV Clearance assessments.
