About the Role
This role focuses on managing ArcGIS Server sites, developing and automating spatial services, and delivering geospatial data and platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable spatial solutions that support national environmental and policy decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ArcGIS Server sites and spatial web services
- Publish and optimise map, feature, image, and geoprocessing services
- Troubleshoot complex spatial system issues and enhance platform performance
- Develop scripts and automations for data processing, analysis, and management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align spatial services with business needs
- Support upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning for spatial systems
Skills & Experience
- Proficient in ArcGIS Server administration and spatial web services
- Experience with scripting and automation (Python, SQL, FME, R, SPARQL)
- Knowledge of spatial data management, metadata standards, and integration
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Requirements
Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
