About the position We are seeking a dedicated Building Project Officer to play a key role in the planning, coordination, and management of building projects.
Working closely with internal departments, external contractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support the scoping and design of building capital works projects Prepare documentation and plans to enable smooth project delivery Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to refine project briefs Assist in managing projects through delivery stages, ensuring compliance and quality Contribute to continuous improvement of the capital works cycle About the person The successful candidate should have the following.
Tertiary qualifications in Building Design, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline Demonstrated experience in scoping, designing, and delivering building projects Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including planning, procurement, and compliance Familiarity with local government capital works programs or public infrastructure projects (desirable) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills What's on offer We are offering an attractive total remuneration of $91,988 to $105,786 plus super.
