Your background includes:Application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment.Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of Electrical infrastructure.Proficiency in High and Low Voltage switching and permit issuance.A commitment to audits and safety processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.Implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures.Adherence to business and industry standards, contributing to the role of an Electrical Technician.Your Skills Extend Beyond Technical ExpertiseEffective problem-solving during unplanned events.The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.Basic computer proficiency relevant to the role.Strong interpersonal skills, enabling professional communication with stakeholders and customers.Required QualificationsCertificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualificationsDrivers LicenceQualified Supervisors CertificateWorkCover NSW Construction Induction CertAttainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the roleDesirableFirst AidElevated Work PlatformTraffic ControlCrane borerDogmanForkliftChemical awareness, handling and storageManual HandlingEnvironmental AwarenessSwitching knowledgeSub Station entry authorisationWhy Essential EnergyWe offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16% superannuation.Essential Energy provides employees with a broad range of employee benefits through our corporate partnerships with organisations such as Qantas, Optus, nib and Mildura Health Fund.
