We are seeking a Migration Services Officer to support the delivery of the skilled migration visa program. This role plays a key part in addressing workforce needs by attracting skilled migrants who can contribute to the local economy and drive innovation.
Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: 30 Jun 2026 with posiblity to get an extension for another 12 months Pay Rate: $482.29 + super Contract Type: Casual contract (Mon-Fri)
Working Conditions: Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days at home. In initial 4 weeks, FT hours in office for training purposes

Responsibilities
- Assess applicant compliance with state and federal visa requirements to grant nomination in state-sponsored skilled and business migration programs, in line with NSW policy.
- Respond to client enquiries regarding State Nominated Migration Programs; meet with prospective applicants, migration agents, and recruiters to explain processes and provide advice on migration compliance issues.
- Research, gather, and analyse data to make recommendations for developing guidelines and implementing strategies that contribute to achieving outcomes of the NSW Migration Strategy.
- Prepare briefings, papers, correspondence, and advice for senior management on migration matters.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on the NSW migration program and develop communication tools to educate and promote NSW migration and visa nomination requirements.
- Inform process improvement initiatives and ensure audit and legislative requirements are met.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Strong understanding of migration programs and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
