There are exciting openings for Registered Nurses to join the 39-bed Surgical Ward and help shape what high-quality patient care looks like at a private hospital in Hobart.
There are both permanent part-time and full-time positions available.
You will work a variety of shifts on a rotating roster of early, late and night shifts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing evidence-based care for surgical patients post-operation;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Working with Children check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

REMUNERATION
A salary ranging from $38.90 to $51.59 per hour + Shift Allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics.
The Maternity suites are designed on the contemporary labour/deliver/recover model, fitted with state-of-the-art technology, including K2 fetal monitoring systems, and provide various resources used during childbirth.
