 
        
        TODOJO PTY LTD is looking for an experienced Fulltime chef to join our restaurant team at Pholklore, located at 38 The Esplanade Torquay, Victoria
Roles and Responsibilities 
- Design new menus with the restaurant manager, manage all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and clean up
- Manage, motivate, lead and develop the Kitchen team
- Delegate the tasks to the kitchen staff and inform the wait staff on Todays specials and Chefs specials.
- Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with company standards
- Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers
- Manage food costs and supplier management to budget
- Manage staff costs to budget
- Manage and maintain ordering of stock and produce
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the company
Job Requirements and necessary experience 
- Qualified Chef or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience within a fast paced environment
- Australian qualification of Certificates III and IV in Commercial Cookery or positive Trade Skill Assessment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with restaurant staff and management
- Detailed knowledge of health and safety standards

We are offering attractive Annual Salary $79,000+ Super on going performance-based Incentives and bonus
