Purchasing Role
Drill Doctors is seeking a skilled Purchasing Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong procurement skills, with experience in inventory management and sourcing.
The successful candidate will work within the existing Purchasing, Warehouse and Part Sales Team of eight, responsible for planning stock requirements using Inventory management reports (MRP), sourcing quotes from suppliers, creating/amending purchase orders, expediting outstanding or potentially outstanding orders via phone, improving and maintaining data integrity, supporting inventory management by maintaining stock counts and stock adjustments, and operating a forklift if required.
The role requires:
* Procurement work experience within an industrial company
* Working with SAP or similar procurement/ERP systems
Key skills include:
* Strong computer skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills - verbal and written
* Excellent organisation/time management skills
* Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
* Fast learner
