Broomehill Primary School (PS) invites applications from enthusiastic and committed educators to join our collaborative and student‐focused team. Broomehill PS is a close‐knit rural school in the Great Southern district of Western Australia, located twenty kilometres south of Katanning and approximately 150 kilometres north of Albany. Set in attractive bush surrounds, the school has a supportive inclusive culture where staff collaborate to improve teaching practice and student outcomes.
We currently have 33 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 (K‐6), in a two‐class structure: Kindergarten to Year 2, and Year 3 to Year 6. Our vision is to empower every student to thrive as confident, capable and compassionate learners, prepared for a successful future in an ever‐changing world.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher who is student‐centred, reflective, and committed to delivering high‐quality teaching and learning programs. The successful applicant will recognise that student wellbeing is an enabling condition for learning and actively embed this understanding into classroom practice and whole‐school approaches, including alignment with our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.

Mobility Appointments
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school, may elect to undertake this role as a 3‐year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
