Job Description Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure the continuous availability of the power and cooling in the data center. Support customer operations, growth, and design changes. Oversee facility electrical load management and overall health of data center critical environments Ensure redundancy is maintained during failure and maintenance scenarios Oversee new buildouts through commissioning oversight, handover and delivery timeline tracking, and document gathering and management. Perform non-routine and complex administrative workloads and program initiatives Host post-incident reviews and mitigation coordination Prepare and present change requests for complex repairs or upgrades On-call support for after hours events and incidents Track equipment specifications, nameplate ratings, and capacity limitations Responsibilities Technical A desire to learn and participate in the creation and development of scalable engineering solutions Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics Safely performing electrical switching operations Review of MOPs and SOPs for accuracy, safety, and to assess the potential for business impact Overseeing the maintenance activities performed by others to ensure they are conducted safely and correctly Implement Oracle change management, ensureing adherence to OCI policies Undertaking the testing of electrical and cooling systems and identifying issues and working on solutions Supporting the resolution of engineering incidents, and root cause analysis Overseeing the installation of electrical and cooling infrastructure Testing and Verification Following existing procedures and play a key role in the development and improvement of processes Analyzing and validate system data and reports for accuracy and completeness Undertaking risk assessments of supplier or partner works Scheduling and track completion of preventive and corrective work items Drafting scopes of work and requests for proposal for vendors and service providers Providing frequent reports on key performance indicators pertaining to space, power, and availability Assist with developing dashboards and automation to support scalable solutions Project Implementation Implementation and tracking of project plans in conjunction with others Participating in the development of technical and process improvements Identifying potential issues and working with others to ensure project success Oracle Competencies specific to this position: Collaboration Change Agility Communicating for impact Competitive edge Inspirational leadership Mastering complexity Performance drive and execution Core Skills: Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email Detailed and thorough understanding of building electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems Good interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent problem solving skills Ability to synthesize information and distill into an executive summary Ability to read and understand construction drawings Career Level - IC4 About Us Only Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
