The role
Catalpa Group is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering quality outcomes across major infrastructure and resource projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Schedule 26 Supervisor to join our team for Kalgoorlie-based works.
This is a 2:1 roster, suited to a hands‐on supervisor with strong experience in concrete, civil works, and site supervision within mining environments.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day‐to‐day supervision and coordination of onsite civil, concrete and earthworks activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with statutory and project requirements.
Working closely with site teams, you will provide leadership, maintain compliance, and drive productivity across all work fronts.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfil statutory responsibilities as a Schedule 26 Supervisor on site
- Supervise and coordinate concrete, FRP, and general civil works
- Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, ITPs, and permits
- Monitor site safety compliance and proactively manage hazards and risks
- Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to meet daily and short‐term plans
- Lead pre‐starts, toolbox talks, and safety engagements
- Maintain clear communication with project teams and provide structured handovers
- Mentor and support crew members to maintain high performance and safety standards
About You
- Current Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (mandatory)
- Proven experience supervising civil and concrete works in mining or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of WA mining safety legislation and site systems
- White Card and current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Hands‐on leadership style with strong communication and organisational skills
