Schwarz Excavations are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team and support our internal workshop. Our Maintenance department is responsible for maintaining over 200 trucks, Light vehicles, earth moving machinery to help support our expanding business. If you are a self-motivated, energetic, hands-on person looking for a change or a new start we would love to hear from you.
Reporting to the Maintenance manager you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Co-ordinate with suppliers to ensure the effective supply of parts and consumables for our workshop.
* Vehicle GPS tracking and fault reporting.
* General administration support.
* Identify and evaluate parts supply options.
* Ensure company purchasing procedures are complied.
* Assist with safety compliance of work health and safety.
* Update equipment service and repairs records.
* Assist with repair budget costings.
* Review contractors’ compliance.
* Meeting minutes recording.
* Systems data entry
About you:
* Knowledge and experience in MEX (Preventative maintenance program) and MYOB (Preferred but not essential)
* Sound knowledge of Maintenance industry.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* The ability to prioritise critical work paths in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* A can-do attitude.
* Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
