With over 50 years of combined experience, Clarke & Stokes Agriservices know agriculture. Their years in the industry have seen them develop local relationships and an understanding of the community that make them uniquely qualified to assist the farmers of Esperance with every rural supply need.

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time permanent Merchandise Sales position to join the team in Esperance.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will focus on developing strong customer relationships both inside and outside our office. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers, and trade clientele.

Tasks will be varied, and your attitude will be paramount, with flexibility a must Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering orders to our valued customers, so holding an HR Truck Licence would be advantageous, but not mandatory. You will be required to obtain this licence once you commence employment with us.

About the Role:

* Provide knowledge and support to both existing and new customers. Process sales orders, manage stock control, and prepare orders for delivery.
* Provide customer service and be the primary contact for key clients regarding product pricing, logistics, and product availability.
* Offer proactive, solution-based approaches to resolving customer issues.
* Create ongoing relationships with new and existing clients.
* Be the primary person responsible for farm delivery via HR truck and light vehicle.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role within a busy environment. You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an interest in the agriculture industry. Additionally, you will demonstrate:

* Previous success in a similar sales or business development role.
* The ability to develop solid, long-term customer relationships.
* Effective verbal communication skills.
* A proactive approach to work and practical organizational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly.
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
