Achieve Something Great

Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Senior Physiotherapist (Neurology) for a maternity‑leave backfill position, working 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday). In this role, you will provide advanced clinical care across a 20‑bed Neurology Ward including an Acute Stroke Unit, as well as a 10‑bed Oncology Ward, managing patients with complex conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, MND and MS. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply and expand your expertise in a high‑acuity environment while making a meaningful difference to some of our most vulnerable patients.

You will also lead the clinical supervision and development of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students, fostering a culture of growth and learning within the team. With opportunities to spearhead service development, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives, you will play a key role in shaping Neurology Physiotherapy services at one of the region's most progressive hospitals.

Are You the Right Fit?

You will bring extensive experience managing complex neurology patients in an acute setting, coupled with the ability to apply high‑level clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills to ensure patient safety in fast‑paced, high‑risk environments. You communicate confidently, collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate exceptional professionalism when working with patients, carers, and colleagues.

You are committed to supporting the development of physiotherapy staff across neurology clinical areas, offering guidance, mentorship, and clinical oversight. Your experience in implementing rehabilitation principles in acute care, along with the ability to identify early rehabilitation needs, ensures patients receive optimal, timely interventions. If you are passionate, skilled, and ready to contribute to excellence in neurological physiotherapy, we'd love to hear from you.
