Seeking an accomplished commercial disputes specialist to join our dynamic team in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle complex matters including commercial and corporate disputes insolvency shareholder disputes negligence claims against professionals.
* Manage succession law matters including estate planning and litigation wills trusts elder law disputes guardianship financial management orders.
* Assist with regulatory and administrative law matters including investigations complaints management and review of government and regulatory decisions.
* Be involved in intricate litigation including corporate governance contractual disputes and construction and strata-related matters.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and develop as a well-rounded commercial disputes specialist.
Requirements
* 3-6 years post-admission experience in commercial disputes litigation or related practice area.
* Strong legal research drafting and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities meet deadlines and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to liaise directly with clients and other stakeholders.
* Collaborative approach and enthusiasm to contribute to a supportive team environment.
