Your next career opportunity
As the Communications Specialist (Arts) at the University of Melbourne, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and enhancing the global reputation of the Faculty of Arts. Working closely with the Communications Lead, you'll develop and execute integrated communications strategies that align with the faculty's strategic ambitions. This role offers you the chance to craft compelling content across a broad range of internal and external channels and to showcase the faculty's world-class research and teaching. You'll be at the forefront of stakeholder engagement, collaborating with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders to safeguard and elevate the faculty's profile in a dynamic academic environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop Strategic Plans: Create and execute integrated communication plans that address key faculty priorities.
* Provide Expert Advice: Support senior leaders with communications activities and strategic guidance.
* Create Compelling Content: Produce timely and engaging materials for various internal and external channels.
* Manage Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
You may be a great fit if
You are an experienced communications professional with a strategic mindset, capable of crafting impactful narratives while navigating complex stakeholder relationships in a prestigious university setting.
You may also
* Have a relevant postgraduate qualification or extensive experience in a similar position.
* Demonstrate a track record of designing and delivering successful communications plans and activities.
* Show the ability to work independently, leading projects with limited supervision.
* Possess experience in coordinating strategic activities within large, complex organisations.
