ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Assistant to join our Touring Operations team, supporting our Northern Territory operations in an administrative capacity. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for tourism, and a solid understanding of touring operations gained through previous experience.
As a key support to our operations team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth coordination of people, logistics, and processes that underpin our NT touring program.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coordinating and communicating travel arrangements for NT touring crew, including flight bookings
* Organising all Darwin-based transfers related to touring operations
* Managing and maintaining Northern Territory permits required for touring activities
* Maintaining and updating company databases, registers, and files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
* Reviewing, documenting, and improving standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
* Liaising with suppliers and contractors to support operational requirements
* Assisting with project tracking and documentation, ensuring deadlines are met
* Proactively identifying issues and suggesting practical solutions to improve office and operational efficiency
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
* Acting as a first point of contact for touring crew arriving at or departing from the depot
ABOUT YOU:
You are an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You are confident managing multiple priorities, coordinating logistics, and communicating clearly with crew, suppliers, and stakeholders.
You will have:
* Proven experience in a similar Operations Assistant or administrative role
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in administration (touring or travel industry experience highly regarded)
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy
* Confidence liaising with suppliers and coordinating travel arrangements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* A current Australian Driver's Licence
