As a Data Tester, you are responsible for validating data accuracy, integrity, and quality across various platforms. You will develop automated testing frameworks, perform SQL-based validation, test ETL pipelines and APIs, and ensure seamless data migration. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll leverage tools like Azure, Databricks, and DevOps to support end-to-end data testing in cloud-based ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement test cases to validate data in semi-structured databases such as Cosmos DB using Python within Azure Notebooks.
2. Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks to support continuous testing.
3. Perform thorough validation of source-to-target data mappings using strong SQL skills.
4. Conduct ETL and data migration testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
5. Perform API testing to verify functionality, reliability, and performance.
6. Develop and execute automated test scripts for scalable test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in Python for testing data within semi-structured databases.
* Hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
* Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and mapping verification.
* Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
* Proven experience in ETL and data migration testing.
* Knowledge and experience in API testing and automated testing tools.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its services.
* Understanding of Azure Cloud Platform architecture.
* Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
* Experience working with Databricks.
* Prior involvement in Agile-based data testing projects.
