The Role;
The Mount Marion MEM Team are currently seeking experienced MEM Supervisors that are motivated, safety-focused leader with proven experience in supervising Mobile Maintenance operations within a mining environment
As a Mineral Resources Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you will shape our workshop, lead continuous improvement, and manage a team of technicians to ensure safe and efficient use of resources. Your commitment to safety will be key to maintaining our strong safety culture and achieving high standards.
These roles are on a 2:1 roster, consisting of 7D, 7N, & 7RR.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and fix defects to ensure mobile equipment operates effectively.
* Lead and support your team to deliver work on time and within budget.
* Monitor team performance, providing training, mentoring, and coaching as needed.
* Use a CMMS to develop and manage maintenance plans for greater efficiency.
* Review plans and reports to drive continuous improvement.
* Work with stakeholders to adjust work scopes as required.
* Help develop and standardise maintenance systems and procedures.
* Plan and coordinate daily and weekly mobile maintenance activities, overcoming technical and logistical challenges.
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work complies with statutory and safety regulations.
What you'll bring to the team
* Relevant trade qualification coupled with significant hands-on management experience
* Schedule 26 including DMIRS exam completed
* Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage employee relations and ensure performance against KPIs and company values
* Passion for team growth, providing mentoring, guidance and technical support to crew members
* Strong commitment to adhering to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
* Ability to monitor and manage crew manning levels to meet operational requirements
* Experience assisting in the development of weekly maintenance plans and schedules
* Familiarity with working on fleets such as Cat, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu mobile equipment
Mt Marion is located 40km south west of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining activities at Mt Marion, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes (SC6 equivalent).
