About the jobAn exciting opportunity has emerged for a strategic Group Financial Controller to join a highly regarded machinery dealership network. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial operations and long‐term stability of the organisation across its multiple branches. Given the locations of the branches, you can be based anywhere in Victoria and work from home (but be prepared to visit branches across the state as part of the role). Key responsibilitiesLeading the budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation processes. Providing strategic financial advice and analysis to the Board of Directors and senior management. Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Managing cash flow, working capital, and overall financial stability initiatives. Mentoring, coaching, and building a high‐performing finance team. QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, ideally with CA or CPA certification. Over six years of financial management experience, including at least two years in a leadership role. Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory compliance. Advanced proficiency in financial software, data analytics, and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
